Chris Quickfall CEO CognAssist
Chris Quickfall set up Invate in 2006, not long after he was diagnosed with dyslexia, in a bid to provide assistive technologies to help disabled people in education and employment.
This led to the launch of face-to-face training company, e-Quality Learning in 2010 and online assistive technology learning platform, Learning Labs in 2013.
In 2016 Chris set developed CognAssist, an innovative digital solution created to enable apprenticeship and work-based learning providers to identify, support and fund learners with additional learning needs.
CognAssist empowers support staff to recognise and respond to neurodiverse learners, and provides these learners with personalised coping strategies to independently improve their ability in the workplace, study and in their personal lives.
Chris is a keen member and representative of the industry body British Assistive Technology Association (BATA) and has advised the government on their policies towards disabled students in education.
He is passionate about building solutions to make the world more inclusive.
